Page 3 of 5 Aesthetically,
you've seen how the headphones look and they're not that bad. The black
is a good look for a set of headphones. They've got a good folding
design for portability and they fit very relaxed, adjusting for a good
fit is easy too. Compared to the LTB set, the design is pretty similar,
with almost the same external construction (LTB pictured below as
inset). We think both sets look pretty appealing externally, but the
sleek black of the OK800 puts it one up.
There
is one weird and kind of annoying feature, we cannot understand why
you would require an indicator LED to let you know if you're in 5.1 or
stereo mode...that you'll never see while wearing the headset. A button
for which mode your in could be useful if you're going to listen to
your MP3 player or something with stereo output, but the LED is
unecessary. The position of the button, right behind the left earcup
caused us to hit the button quite often when moving the headphones
around and then we'd would wonder why we didn't have any sound.
The LED has a decent mCD rating and pulses; you're wearing a small cop
light behind your head, which annoys most people at a LAN, or in public for that matter.
