Everything arrived in good condition. When we opened the box we were greeted with the usual packing. One of the things you notice right off the bat is the odd looking cables. Whether you're used to seeing the large modular cables or thin general muli-colored cable bunches, Flex Force looks peculiar. As you can see the cables are tightly wrapped with insulation in order to not only made cable management very easy but also to increase airflow through and around the cables — lowering system temperatures.

Combined with the Flex Force technology that has been a trademark of Ultra power supplies for a while now is their Dual Rail technology. Dual Rail spliuts the 12v rail into two rails, providing dedicated power to the CPU with one rail to help increase stability while the other rail is left for the rest of your hardware. Being certified for use in SLI systems where power use is increased this could be a concern because of the possibility that an improper division of devices could overload one of the rails since the amperage is split between the two. This gives one rail 16A and the other 18A. That said, we didn't have any issues with power distribution with this one.

After testing the PSU, like many other Ultra power supplies, we cannot complain. It showed solid, stable performance for hours on end. If you need stable power, want a lifetime limited warranty (registration required), don't need any flashy lights or paint jobs, and want to run SLI we suggest you look into this line of power supplies. Increased airflow, power distribution for added stability, clean design, and sufficient connectors all add to the value of this PSU. With every aspect of the power supply posting confident marks this PSU is easy to justify buying and if you shop around we're sure you'll find some lower pricetags.

Thanks goes to Ultra for making this review possible.
