Our friends over at Uniblue have been working on a new version of their acclaimed ProcessLibrary.com. They've now launched the new version that implements a number of new features. Being able to look up any odd processes that you're curious about is a great feature and really can help eliminate spyware and other potential resouce draining, malicious code. If that wasn't enough, Uniblue has added more features to ProcessLibarary.com such as RSS/Atom Feeds and faster results as well as other improvements. We encourage everyone to check it out and provide feedback to help improve the service. More information inside.
Information from Uniblue:
Deep in the recesses of any computer, innumerable processes are running silently in the background. Some grab system resources, drastically slowing computers down; others harbour spyware and Trojans violating privacy and giving hackers free reign on compromised systems. ProcessLibrary.com gives you instant access to an extensive online database of comprehensive process descriptions to help you understand what is - and should not be - running on your computer.
Since its launch in 2004, ProcessLibrary.com has generated over 5 million visits per month, and has become one of the most used web-based services globally. T he site has been redesigned with many exciting new features and improvements, and launched on 14 th September 2006.
The upgraded website has several new key features:
Uniblue CEO, Bosse Malmberg, said “As ProcessLibrary.com is a useful resource for every PC user, we wanted to ensure that the site is extremely user-friendly, providing as much information as possible. We have optimized the site so that its performance has been greatly enhanced; along with offering some new functionality such as RSS feeds”.
Please have a look on: www.processlibrary.com – your comments / feedback are extremely welcome!
