After taking everything into consideration, the AcoustiFan Dustproof series is a pretty good buy. Keeping with the AcoustiFan legacy of dead silent performance, the Dustproof fans life expectancy has been extended with the seal as well as dampening sound from the internal components even further. Silence comes at a price, each fan doesn't push as many CFMs as other fans. But with a proper fan configuration in your case cooling shouldn't be a problem. When you add in the Silicone Gasket Kit and/or the Soft Gel Mounts both vibration and noise levels will drop dramatically. We recommend this fan to everyone who needs to replace that noisy, rattling fan, wants a quieter PC, and expects their fans to serve your PC for at least a system upgrade or two, if not longer. You're not paying for bling, you're paying for silence and longevity of usage.
We don't suggest overclockers use these fans. We also discourage anyone from putting these fans on your CPU, as with most silent fans, because of the lower cooling abilities you run a higher risk of your CPU or other hardware overheating. But if you're still going to use these fans in an OC'd rig or as a heatsink fan we suggest monitoring temperatures as closely as possible at all times.
If you've got a lot of noise or vibration (audible, or just fan vibration alone) being generated by a fan of yours, we urge you to investigate the AcoustiFan Silicone Fan Gasket and the AcoustiFan Soft Gel Mounts. It's going to cost you a little extra to acquire them yet it's repaid time and time again in silence.
