Page 2 of 5 Arriving
safely, the fan has a sturdy construction of thick black plastic. A
little different from their clear variety of fans but nothing
groundbreaking obviously, aesthetically it's nothing new.
Included with the fans are some mounting
screws, simple cable ties, and a 3-speed power connector (splits from a
molex). As stated, it allows for three different speeds the lowest
being 5vDC. At 12vDC you'll experience 15.6 dBA and 20 CFM.
We've got not issues with whats included,
it's nice to see the included resistor for truly silent cooling. It's
not mandatory to even use that 4-pin molex for power, but we can see
how the 3-pin connector on the fan may be too short for many cases. It
wouldn't have allowed us to put it in the side panel without using the
4-pin connector, but when mounted in the rear, it would be just fine.
The extra cable ties, while nothing fancy, do the job.
