Being able to look up anything that is running on your computer and getting a description for it, advice as to whether it's harmful or not, and a suggestion as to what you should do with it is priceless. We're glad to see that this is offered free to the public and encourage everyone to use it. While it might not have every process you search for, it's impossible for any database to have them all; but you're able to suggest a definition for a process and help out with the completion of the library. With enough users contributing to this resource, it could become the biggest database of processes ever; not to mention the most complete. Easy to use, free, and thorough, ProcessLibrary is a winner.

WinTasks 5 Professional. The name conjures a connotation of "another lame power user utility", but after further investigation it's a high-performance control and security application for Windows. Using ProcessLibrary.com definitions, it lets you see exactly whats running and what you should do with it. The ability to control everything from priority and blocking to creating your own scripts that do exactly what you want and run in the background, WinTasks 5 Professional is the complete Windows tool. An easy to use interface, easy installation, quick start time, options galore, and available as a download or boxed, and the price is more than compensated for in performance and functionality. Windows Task Manager beware, Uniblue has created a better, faster, and stronger version of you. It's like the Task Manager on steroids. Lots of 'em.
