Updates @ Tweakerzone
We've decided to take up our work with Tweakerzone again. As a result of this decision there might be some problems visiting the website as we are incorporating the latest version of the CMS and are testing around with some new site themes.
It's good to be back and we're going to make it work this time! Also a decision that has been taken is the DUAL language posting. We're going to post our content in two languages in the future: ENGLISH and DUTCH.
Best regards, Wesley

Thermalright HR-01 @ Legion Hardware
Over the past year Thermalright have begun to push the idea of passive CPU coolers and have just recently unleashed what they are calling the HR-01. The HR-01 is a more serious approach to passive cooling and unlike most so called “passive” coolers the HR-01 does quite a good job with very little air-flow. Thermalright are selling an optional 120mm shroud that is designed to direct air-flow from the case fans over the HR-01 heatsink.

Meridian XCLIO 550W Power Supply Review @ Extreme Overclocking
Previously we took a look at Meridian's 450W & 400W XCLIO power supplies and were quite pleased with their performance and features. Meridian has updated the XCLIO line, both internally and externally providing an even better product. One of the most notable new features externally is a rubberized coating that reduces shock and vibration, a first in the PSU industry. Internally, the PSU is completely different, and is surprisingly a near-identical design to another "big name" PSU company. Read more here.

OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum EB (DDR2 800MHz) @ OCAU
Until recently we thought that heatspreaders are not necessary for DDR2 modules, because DDR 2 runs cooler than DDR1 due to its lower voltage. DDR2 modules in previous tests became just lukewarm. We had to change our opinion after running OCZ PC2-6400 at 2.3 volt. After a while these modules become quite hot and a quality heat spreader is therefore useful. Read more here.

Thermaltake SHARK aluminum tower case @ Legit Reviews
Thermaltake's SHARK series is one of the most versatile Tower designs on the market today. The side panel features a "Honey-comb" viewing alternative which replaces the typical plexiglas window and allows further ventilation. Plexiglas is a better insulator then conductor of heat and in-so-far as case temps are concerned your better off eschewing a plexiglas side-window. Thermaltake's solution is simple, effective and integrates EMI shielding. Read more here.

Chaintech VNF4 Ultra Zenith VE Review @ Ninjalane
The layout of the Chaintech VNF4 Ultra is pretty typical with a few welcome exceptions. Memory slots are located at the top with the processor directly below. This helps to ensure the processor is out of the hot region in your standard mid-tower case and more inline with the rear exhaust fan. The MCP chip has also moved and is now closer to the processor. Technical reasons aside the new location helps with cooling since much of the intake air passes by here. You may also notice that the 16x PCI Express slot has also moved below the MCP, this does two rather important things.
1) Allows the MCP to be above the video card giving room for water cooling solutions and active heatsinks. 2) Allows you to use the extra PCI Express slots even if your gpu cooler happens to be a double wide. Read more here.

TTIC NPH WB K8-1 @ MadShrimps
Water blocks nowadays have a 'horizontal structure', with the inlet placed right on top of the CPU. nPowertek now makes a 'vertical structure': the inlet is also place on top of the cpu, but the water makes an upward move. The outlet is placed at the end of the heat pipe.

Civilization IV PC computer strategy game review @ A1 Electronics.net
What can one say about the graphics. Super. We hope you get the idea from these not so good review pictures taken off one of our office monitors.
Initially we found the screen a little cluttered which reduces the user area but after a while came to use the map zoom which works extremly well. The ability to be able to zoom from far off to very close gets around this problem. We found after a while and after reading the manual that all that information displayed around the screen is very useful in Civilization IV.
Yes, we do suggest you read the manual. While the Civilization IV manual is half an inch thick it does not take all day to read and once you have the basics of this Civ IV version you can read the rest while you play this stunnig PC computer game.

EverCool K803-925CA @ A1 Electronics.net
We can see that this EverCool K803-925AC is doing very well at our low heat setting which for an aluminium heatsink that does not have a copper core is very good indeed. Only as we start to increase the temperature higher than this EverCool K803-925AC is intended to be used at does it start to lag behind and especially so at our highest temperature test which is a rather harsh test. Intel Pentium D 820 Review @ Legit Reviews

Titan Bianca water heatsink cooler system @ A1 Electronics.net
First off we have to say that this Titan Bianca is not sold as an all powerful all conquering water cooler heatsink system but as an economic universal AMD & Intel processor water system. The whole Bianca kit is well made as you expect from Titan and comes complete with all the accessories you need and a fully comprehensive manual, but then the Bianca is easy to set up and use. Nvidia GeForce 6600 & 6600 GT PCI Express & AGP video graphics card @ A1 Electronics.net
In this review we go over the properties of the Nvidia GeForce 6600 & 6600 GT graphics video card which is a really great value performance graphics card that gives outstanding in all but the most high resolution settings where it cannot compete with the GeForce 5950 with its 256-bit memory bus which gives it higher memory bandwidth. But then since the price is a lot cheaper who cares. Read more here.
